General Conditions.
pc-homeservice cannot provide any home-based services to
customers who do not have a working broadband connection, or to those
using dial-up services.
The standard price list assumes that your computer operating system
is Windows XP (SP2) and that you have a working hi-speed broadband
connection. You should also be able to provide your original Windows
disk (if required) and any proprietary driver disks that came with
your computer.
If you are using an earlier version of Windows (e.g. Windows 98) you
can take advantage of our Windows XP upgrade service
How much will it cost?
A range of fixed price services are available; see the relevant
product pages for details. A bespoke service can be provided on request.
How can I pay for your services?
You must pay for any services provided on completion. I accept cash
or a personal cheque which must be supported by a valid cheque
guarantee card. Sorry, I cannot accept payment by Debit or Credit Card.
Is VAT included?
No. pc-homeservice is not VAT registered and VAT is not added
to your final bill. The price you see is the price you pay.
What if the service I want isn't there?
pc-homeservice can probably help. If you need help with basic
instructions on how to use the Internet or email, about safety and
security online, or a short course on Microsoft Word or Excel, give
me a call. Prices for individual 1 hour sessions on any subject start
at just £20. Please ask for a personal quotation.
