Who am I dealing with? pc-homeservice is a small, friendly and independent computer maintenance business run by Howard Goodall, from Madeley in Staffordshire. So why should I call "pc-homeservice"? Faulty equipment or a computer behaving erratically either leads to endless frustration struggling with advice from a 'computer whizz', or the inconvenience of removing your equipment and travelling to a repair shop miles from home - followed by a long wait before you can do the whole thing again in reverse. But more often than not, you simply don't know what's wrong and just need someone to take a look without all the hassle. The thing you really need is for someone to see the problem at first hand, explain what's wrong and, if possible, put it right there and then. Sometimes all you need is impartial advice on how to check your broadband connection, secure your network or online transactions without spending a fortune on unnecessary software, or someone to give you a simple set of 'how to do' instructions for common everyday tasks. That's the sort of convenience and personal attention pc-homeservice seeks to deliver. But the problem I have isn't listed! That's OK. No problem is too small to deal with, so whether it's listed or not, give me a call and we'll discuss the options. How can I book an appointment? You can book an appointment for a home visit by calling 07776 196552 anytime between 9am and 8pm - Monday to Friday. We'll discuss the problem and I'll let you know how much it should cost before agreeing a convenient time to visit. Home visits can be arranged either during the day or in the evening up to 8pm. A limited number of appointments may be available on Saturdays between 10am and 3pm. There are no extra charges for weekend or evening appointments. Home visits are not available on Sundays or Bank Holidays and all appointments are subject to availability. What happens when you're on holiday? Hey, I don't have that many! Call me anyway. We'll arrange an appointment for when I get back. I'll call to check before setting out. Can you offer telephone support? Sorry, telephone support is not available. Can I come to you for impartial advice? Yes. I have over twenty years experience in personal and business computer maintenance and I am not connected with either computer equipment suppliers or maintainers, or Internet service providers.
